Building out stats and stat buffs
We got some upgrades available to the player now. The enemies started to drop power ups the player can now use to survive even longer than before. We got damage, fire rate, healing, and a health pool upgrade now. We are planning on adding a bit more but decided these ones were essential to overall gameplay. With these upgrades, the player can now survive longer and longer, making the gameplay loop all the more fun. It took a long time to get it up and running, but its there now, ready to go. All the buffs work by adding a set value to the player's stats, with the exception of the healing drop. For example, the fire rate increases by one for each fire rate buff the player picks up. There is no cap to the power ups, the idea being for the player to get super powerful, but not game-breaking powerful.
